The Area Agency on Aging, Region One, offers a large variety of programs and services that enhance the quality of life for residents of Maricopa County, Arizona. They advocate, plan, coordinate, develop and deliver services for adults aged 60+, adults aged 18+ with HIV/AIDS, adults aged 18+ with disabilities and long-term care needs, and family caregivers.

The Phoenix, Arizona branch of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (part of the National Institutes of Health, NIH) is enrolling healthy adults in their clinical trials. Involvement in clinical trials helps researchers to ultimately uncover better ways to treat, prevent, diagnose, and understand human disease.
